Team Member Spotlight: Dan Martin, Shop Foreman
At Executive Printing, teamwork and versatility keep the presses running and our customers happy — and no one embodies that spirit better than Dan Martin. With over 11 years of experience, Dan works diligently behind the scenes to make sure every project moves smoothly from start to finish.
Before becoming Shop Foreman, Dan operated folder and cutter machines — and today he ensures that quality and precision remain at the forefront of everything we do.
I do a lot of different jobs, so I’m not doing one thing all day. That variety keeps my work interesting and rewarding.
For Dan, the most meaningful part of his job is working alongside his family. Growing up, Dan was no stranger to the print shop. He remembers helping his dad with hand work — early lessons in dedication and craftsmanship that still guide his work today.
Getting to work with my brothers and sister is definitely the best part.
When asked about the most important life lesson his father taught him, Dan doesn’t hesitate: “He always told us that your reputation is so important.” It’s advice that continues to shape the way he approaches both his work and life.
Outside the print shop, Dan enjoys woodworking and spending time with his dogs, Pete and Sasha. He also has a surprising hobby — collecting and caring for houseplants. And when it’s time to relax and grab a bite, you can often find him at one of his favorite local spots, Rino’s Pizza in Lancaster.
Dan’s commitment, attention to detail, and easygoing nature make him an essential part of the Executive Printing team. His hard work helps ensure that every project — big or small — reflects the care and quality our family business is known for.
